Michael Myrl Kelley

Mr. Michael Myrl Kelley, 53, of Frederick died peacefully on Monday February 22, at Georgetown University Hospital. He was the former husband of Robin L. Kelley of Frederick.

Born on September 14, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV, he was the son of Bill Kelley and his wife Wilmetta of Pullman, WV., and the late Clista Sue McCloy Kelley.

Michael was a 1974 graduate of Frederick High School. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1978-1982 as a Med Tech. He was a former division manager of Claims Administration Corp. Rockville, MD for 15 years and was also employed at Pioneer Tech and most recently Phoenix Mecano, Inc., as an Inside Sales Rep. He was president of IAABO Board # 214, he coached West Frederick Athletic Association and AAU Team Frederick Netmasters. He was on Board of Directors of Sertoma Basketball league for 14 years as well as coach of the JR Division Team Magic for 16 years.

Surviving in addition to his father and former wife are two children, Nathan Kelley and wife Sara of Frederick and Amber Kelley of Frederick. Aunts, Connie Beck of Maryland, Pat McCloy of West Virginia, Alberta Ireland of West Virginia and Nancy Murray of Ohio. One uncle Jerry McCloy of Florida. Also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Thursday February 25, at the South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Drive, Frederick.

Services: Funeral Services will be held at the church on Friday February 26, at 11:00am. Pastor Kenneth Stalls will officiate.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
