Mr. Michael Orban, Sr., 76, of Mt. Airy died on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Carroll Hospice Dove House, Westminster. He was the husband of Florence Long Orban, his wife of 50 years.
Born on November 4, 1930 in Hellertown, PA, he was the son of the late John, Sr. and Pauline Stegura Orban. Michael was the owner operator of 2 shoe stores, Shoe People in Towson Town Center and Hagerstown Shoe Factory Outlet. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Mt. Airy and served at an Airman 1st Class in the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving in addition to wife are 2 sons, Michael Orban, Jr and wife Natalie of Frederick and Ronald Orban of Mt. Airy; 2 grandsons, Brian Orban and David Orban; a sister, Olga Skrip of PA and a brother, Richard Orban and wife Shirley of Buffalo, NY. Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Orban
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church Building Fund, 1125 St. Michael's Rd., Mt. Airy, MD 21771.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael's Rd., Mt. Airy, with Rev. Michael J. Ruane as Celebrant.
Inurnment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville.
