Michael Jessee

d. November 20, 2011

Mr. Michael Andrew Jessee, 37, of Frederick, MD sadly and unexpectedly left behind his family and friends to grieve on Sunday, November 20,2011. He was the husband and best friend of Tracey Jessee.

Born on December 23, 1973 in Frederick, MD, Michael was the beloved son of Lorraine D.

Covell, Frederick, MD and David Andrew Jessee of Jacksonville, FL, and step-father Dr. Kevin C. Lewis. He was a 1990 graduate of Governor Thomas Johnson High School. Michael loved all sports, especially basketball and football and was a huge fan of the Indianapolis Colts. He was a literal walking book of sports trivia and could answer and expound upon any sports related question one might ask. Michael prized his collection of professional football jerseys as well as a large and varied collection of other sporting attire. Hefty portions of well-seasoned barbecue were at the top of his list of favorite foods. His children were his greatest love and passion. He treasured the time spent with them and endeavored to make all of their time together quality time.

In addition to his wife and parents, Michael leaves behind the following children: Tyler Merritt
Jessee and Jacob Andrew Jessee of Thurmont, Dylan Michael Jessee, Dade Carrington Hott and Liliana Mae Hott all of Frederick. He also leaves behind a very special step-son Travis Michael Bewley and a beloved canine "sister" Zoe.

Michael will also be remembered by his maternal aunts Carol L. Rosensteel and her husband
Barry of Myrtle Beach, SC, and B. Regina Mackley of Jefferson, MD, and uncles Robert N. Covell and wife Judy of Walkersville, MD and James Covell of Nashville, Tenn. In addition, he will be remembered by a paternal grandmother Ada Jessee and a number of cousins, and paternal aunts and uncles, particularly his aunt, Carol Mason.
Michael was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Betty Covell Brashears and Newton L. Covell, paternal grandfather Robert N. Jessee, an aunt, Tammy Jessee, and a cousin, Nicholas Covell.
