Mr. Michael J. Greene, Jr., 75, of Frederick, MD, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 24, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born October 4, 1939 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Michael, Sr. and Rosetta Greene, who came to the United States from Ireland.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. Michael retired as a fireman from the D.C. Fire Department and also worked as a plaster Contractor. He enjoyed shooting pool, was a cartoon creator and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his devoted sister Maude Atcheson and his fiance Blora Coratolo and her family, plus many friends and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 112 E. Second Street, Frederick, MD on Friday, January 2, at 11:00 am
Interment will be private.
