Michael J. Connors, Sr.

Michael J.Connors, Sr., 78, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy. He was the husband of Marlene Connors, his wife of 44 years.  

Born on March 7, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Robert P Connors and Audrey Marie Reese Connors. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Michael spent most of his career as an Outside Sales Representative for 84 Lumber. He enjoyed family vacations especially those at the beach and treasured going to Pittsburgh Steelers home games with his sons.  

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Michael J. Connors, Jr. and wife Vaida of Ellicott City and Shane Connors of Mt. Airy; two grandsons: Lukas Connors and Andrew Connors; two sisters: Jackie Dees of Pittsburgh and Carole Manganaro of Pittsburgh; brothers-in-law: James and Wayne Deem of Pittsburgh, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Connors and sisters: Kathleen Tucker and Clara Kobielus. 

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Friday, January 17, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD 21771, where a celebration of Michael's life will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 18. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be private.
