Michael Phares Brubaker

On Sunday, January 14, 2024, beloved Pastor Michael P. Brubaker passed from this life into the next at the age of 72.

Michael was born on January 9, 1952 in Hershey, PA to John and Kathryn (Books) Brubaker. He pastored at four churches over the span of forty-five years and also served as a Chaplain with Hospice of Frederick County MD for two years. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margery (Furness); his children, Charlanne Wolff (Peter) and Amy Andrews (Josh), and five grandchildren; three brothers: Donald (Barbara) Brubaker, Eric (Sue) Brubaker, and Daryl (Susan) Brubaker; and six nieces and nephews. Margery's siblings and their adult children also dearly loved him. 

Visitation will occur Thursday, January 18th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Grace Community Church, 5102 Old National Pike, Frederick, MD. The Celebration of Life will be held at the same location Saturday, January 20th at 10:30 AM.
