Melvin Losovsky

Mr. Melvin John "Mel" Losovsky, 48, of Frederick, MD died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 7, 1967 in Westminster, he was the son of Melvin Louis and Mary Jo (Kreig) Losovsky of Fairfield, PA.
Mel was a humble, quiet man who loved spending time with his family. He greatly adored his nephews, Kevin and Noah, and his niece and goddaughter, Allison. For the past 10 years, Mel was a Chef at the Epic Restaurant at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
Mel so graciously gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Mary Losovsky Hoffman and husband, Jason, of Fairfield, PA; and their children, Kevin, Noah and Allison; and many additional aunts, uncles, cousins and family members.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at noon on Saturday, Oct. 3 from St. John's Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Fairfield.
