Melvin R. Hebron

Melvin R. Hebron, 74, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away from this life on Monday, July 10, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of Gail Harris Hebron. 
Born on December 26, 1948, in Montgomery County MD, he was the son of the late Philip and Helen (Jones) Hebron. 
Melvin Graduated from Poolesville High School in Poolesville, MD.
Melvin had many hobbies including:  Fishing, Shooting Pool, Horseshoes and Dancing.  He also loved playing Bid Whist.  He could build a hand with no hanging and would run a Boston hand on anyone he could. Most of all he was a devoted and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan.  
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters Audrey King and Phyllis Hall and his brother Ricky Hebron.  Sons Melvin Brown and wife Shannon, Joel Hebron and John Boyce Jr. Daughters Melvina Washington, Chanta Hebron, Joi Hebron, Carmeshia Brown and fiance Wendell Gibbs, Samantha Harris, Artaz Pickett and husband Trini.  As well as 24 Grandkids and 12 Great Grandkids. 
Devoted Friends Elsie Hebron, Lewis Bell, Mike Smith, Jeffrey Harris, Welmon Nash, Jerry Harris and Brad Hamilton and may other friends. 
He was proceeded in death by his brothers Billy Hebron, Johnny Hebron, Leon Hebron and sister Madeline Lancaster.  Nephews - Paul King Jr, Michael Brown, Charles Thomas and Joseph Jones III.  Niece - Tammy Green.  Sisters in Law - Linda Snowden, Elsie Miller and Tina Harris.  Brothers in Law - Melvin Smith and Daniel Harris.  Grandson - Jake Dewees.  
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Jackson Chapel UMC, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike in Frederick, MD where a celebration of Melvin's life journey will take place at 11 am.  Rev. Rex Bowens will officiate.  Interment will be at St. Paul Community Church Cemetery - 14730 Sugarland Road, Poolesville, MD 20837.
