Melissa Sue Meek Monroe
July 28, 1979 — March 4, 2007
Melissa Sue Meek Monroe, 27, of Frederick, Maryland was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2007. She passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born July 28, 1979 in Richmond, Virginia she was the daughter of Michael Meek Sr. and Deborah Meek both of Frederick.
Melissa loved life and was a devoted mother to her three children. Melissa's children were her world.
In addition to her loving parents she is survived by her three children, Brittany Ann, Brandon Michael and Samantha Varin; a brother, Michael Meek, Jr.; her special friend, Roger Buddy Walter Williams IV and her best friend, Margie Ridge. She will also be remembered by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Floria Baker and her paternal grandfather, Clyde W. Meek, Jr.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Interment will be in Lewistown Cemetery.
Services: Funeral services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim May officiating.
