Melissa Janice (Mank) Brocious, 48, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed to eternal life on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Born on March 18, 1967, in Trenton, New Jersey, she is the daughter of Mervyn E. and Gail J. (Rowell) Mank of Appleton, Maine.
Melissa was a graduate from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and had worked as an RN.
Melissa was a perfect Air Force wife to Scott, who wonderfully cared for the children through his repeated deployments. She was also a loving daughter and sister and will be missed greatly by her parents and brother. Ultimately, her three sons will best remember “Mama” who they loved more than anything, resting on the hope of Christ that they will see her again in heaven.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Scott D. Brocious of Boonsboro; three sons, Isaac F., Noah M. and Luke D. Brocious, all of Boonsboro; and one brother, Matthew E. Mank of Washington, Maine.
A memorial ceremony in celebration of Melissa's life journey will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Victory Baptist Church, 8014 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. Edward J. Wade will officiate.
