Megan Michelle Gentel

Megan Michelle Gentel of New Market , Maryland passed away suddenly on November 6,2023.  She was born on February 14, 1992.

Megan was a 2010 graduate of Linganore High School and went on to complete her education in Child Development.

Megan’s vibrant personality and beautiful heart touched the lives of everyone she encountered. With her huge smile and love for life, she had the ability to light up a room whenever she walked in. She cherished her family and friends dearly and spread joy wherever she went.

Megan leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate within the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her beautiful boys Hunter and Cody, her parents Michael and Julie Gentel, her sister, Brittany Gentel, her niece and nephew, Kalynn and Kaden Shorb and her grandfather, Ronald Bowie. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Megan is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Nancy Gentel , as well as her maternal grandmother, Julia Bowie.

To honor Megan’s life, a visitation service will be held on Thursday November 16, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.

Interment will be private.
