M. Drusilla Tucker

Mrs. M. Drusilla Tucker, 89, of Frederick died on Monday February 8, 2010 at Heartfields Assisted Living, Frederick. She was the wife of the late Reno E. Tucker to whom she was married from 1940 until his death in 1996.

Born on January 13, 1921 in Union Bridge, She was the daughter of the late Raymond and May Rowe Hyde.

She was a graduate of Elmer Wolfe High School in Union Bridge. She had worked at the Glick Shoe Store and The Young Mens Shop both formerly of Frederick. She was a member of Parkway Community Church, Associate member of Frederick Church of the Brethren where she attended the Bydanho Sunday school class, a member of the V.F.W. of Frederick and the American Legion Post #11. Mrs. Tucker enjoyed cross stitch, reading and playing cards and word find puzzles.

Surviving is a sister Catherine Bostian. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Hyde Jr. and a sister LaRue Myers.

Services: Visitation will be held from 10am until time of Funeral Services at 11:00am on Saturday February 20, 2010 at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Avenue, Frederick, MD. 21701. Reverend Dr. Paul Mundey and Reverend Brian Messler will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
