Mrs. Mazie Elizabeth Tregoning, 87 of Thurmont, Maryland passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Tregoning.
Born October 14, 1923 in New Market, MD she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Watkins and the late Ed and Nellie Watkins Chaney.
She was a presser at the Sanger Sewing Company. She was a member of the Redmens Club, the Eagles Club and enjoyed going to the Crack Claw. She was an avid Redskin and Orioles fan.
She loved stray cats and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, John M. Tregoning, Sr., a grandson, John M. Tregoning, Jr., great grandchildren, Jacob C. Tregoning and Kyle J.D. Tregoning, a sister, Sarah Keyser and husband Robert and a daughter-in-law, Linda Tregoning.
She is preceded in death by her brother, William Thomas Watkins.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. Services will then begin at 11:00AM with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
