Maynard "Chuck' Rice

Mr. Maynard Cameron "Chuck" Rice, 89, of Frederick, MD passed away Monday, October 16, 2017. He was the husband of the late Charlotte Marie Minnick Rice.
Born January 17, 1928 in Frederick, MD he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Summers Rice.
Chuck was a member of Araby United Methodist Church. He was an avid Yankees fan and also enjoyed crabbing and hunting. Chuck was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Donald C. "Hooter" Rice and wife Janet E. of Frederick and Teresa Beckley and husband Thom of Walkersville. Grandchildren Matthew C. Rice and wife Janina of Knoxville, Jody Barnes and husband Chris of Huntington Beach, CA.and Colton Beckley of Walkersville. Great Grandchildren, Allyson, Allysa, Hunter, Nash and Dylan.
He was preceded in death by his sister Louise Lenhart, and brothers Clyde and Russell and granddaughter Kerri Korrell
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20 at 11AM. Pastor TJ Mount will officiate.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
