Mrs. Maxine A. Lawson of 3685 Woodcock Drive, Hephzibah, GA (formerly of Williamsport, MD) entered into
eternal rest on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon. Born on August 3,
1941 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Turner and Marion Tyler Turner. Mrs. Lawson
retired from AAFES Gate 5 Express at Ft. Gordon. Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Weedon, Bethesda, MD;
brother, Robert Turner, Hagerstown, MD; sisters, Catherine Gilbert, Waldorf, MD, Barbara Brock (Darryl), Ocala, FL,
Susie Wright, Hagerstown, MD, Christa Williams (Alan), Middleburg, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin H. Lawson, daughter, Beverly Weedon" and
brother, James Lane. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Tuesday January 8, 2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Home P. A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
