Mrs. Matilda A. Taylor, 87, of Frederick, MD., (formerly of Hudson, NY) passed away, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Kline Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Earl Taylor.
Born August 8, 1926 in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugo and Sadie Butler Roeser.
Mrs. Taylor enjoyed going to Daybreak Adult Day Services, on Rocky Springs Road, visiting with her many friends. She loved walking, reading, sitting on the porch, watching jeopardy, wheel of fortune, and Americas Funniest Home Videos.
She is survived by her children Gloria Williams, Beverly Taylor, Sharon Taylor, William Taylor and Allen Taylor, grandchildren Paula, Risa, Celese, Meya, Tia, Debra, William, Jr., Jonathan, and Allen Jr. and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Earl Taylor, a daughter Audrey Taylor, and two sisters Augusta “Gussie” and Dorothy Roeser.
A Memorial Service will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday, September 24, at 11:00 am with Pastor Gary Hubble officiating.
Interment private.
