Mary Louise {Parrish} Peomroy

Mrs. Mary Louise {Parrish} Peomroy, 85, of Rocky Ridge, passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years Robert L. Peomroy.

Born on April 24, 1922 in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Lauree ( Repp ) Parrish. Mrs. Peomroy was a member of Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ and active in the youth fellowship program.

She was employed with Claire Frock, retiring in 1985 after thirty one years of service.

She was supportive of the Rocky Ridge Volunteer Fire company, volunteering in various functions. She was an Orioles fan and enjoyed solving puzzles. Mrs. Peomroy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Surviving beside her husband are two daughters; Wanda Smith and her companion Marlin Fogle of Emmitsburg, Connie Humerick and husband Luke Humerick, Jr. of Rocky Ridge, two grandchildren; Amber and Branden Humerick, a sister Isabelle Farver of Union Bridge, two brothers; Charles Parrish and wife Nancy of Littlestown, PA, Guy Parrish and wife Margaret of Fairfield, PA, a sister-in-law, Nancy Gorsuch. She was preceded in death by a brother Albert Parrish, sister-in-law Edna Parrish and sister-in-law Margaret Heflin.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont,
on Sunday, May 6th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held on Monday, May 7, at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Tabor U.C.C., 10043 Longs Mill Rd., Rocky Ridge, with Rev. Esther R. Ziegler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be James, Raymond, Ralph Farver, Ronnie & Robert Eyler and
Ricky Beall.
