Mary Jo Bishop

Mary Jo Bishop, 63, of Hagerstown and formerly from Jefferson, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Marvin Bishop, who predeceased her in 2010.
Born August 29, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gerard Algier and Mary Anita (Krumenacker) Algier.
Mary Jo worked in the banking industry for 25 years.
She is survived by daughter, Krista Estell and husband, Adam, of Lovettsville, VA, and their son, Jonah; a brother, Charles Algier II; and a sister, Anne DiPalermo.
A celebration of life service will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May.
Interment will be private.
