Mary Isabelle Rentsel
March 3, 1923 — February 21, 2007
Mrs Mary Isabelle Rentsel, 83 of Thurmont died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilbur Rentsel.
Born in Antrium Township, Franklin County, PA on March 3, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Frank and Helen Marie (Sites) Rock. A homemaker, Isabelle was a former member of Messiah United Methodist Church in Taneytown and a current member at Wellers United Methodist Church in Thurmont. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Thurmont American Legion.
Survivors include her three brothers; Benjamin F. Rock, Jr, and wife Gladys of Taneytown, Robert J. Rock of Littlestown, PA, and George L. Rock and wife Diane of Springfield, VA; and twelve nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26th at 11:00 AM in Wellers United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Broome officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfield Union Cemetery, Fairfield, PA.
