MaryAnne Durante

Mary Anne Haines Durante, 57, of Monrovia, MD passed away peacefully, under a sky of bright stars, Friday morning, April 28, 2017 at the Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, MD. She was with her beloved husband of 27 years, Christopher Raymond Durante, 53 and two children Michelle Christina Durante, 27 and Raymond Alonzo Durante, 24.

Born July 21, 1959 in Spokane, WA she was the daughter of the late David and Patricia Martyr Haines and daughter-in-law of the late Raymond and Dorothy Murray Durante. (In addition to her parents, Mary Anne was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Alonzo Haines).

Mary Anne, was a bookkeeper by trade and helped run her husband’s company, C.R.D. Mechanical over the last 30 years. She was the best mom and devoted a lot of her time to not only attending her kids’ events, but also volunteering and helping to plan them. MA, was a Best Friend, avid Redskins Fan, Tiki Queen, Bunco Babe, and so much more. She loved her family, dogs, gardening, and trips to the Bay House. She will be remembered for her great smile, warm personality, and love for life.

In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her brother Robert Haines and his wife Starr, sister Janet Stewart and her husband Charles, sister Patrice Graff and her husband Fred. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws, Steven and Elizabeth Durante and Douglas and Hilary Durante. She is survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, Stephanie, Bethany, Michael, Kenny, Luke, Claire, Margaret, Michael, Kara, Theresa, and Kimberly.

Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday, May 4th from 5pm to 9pm at St. Ignatius’ (Old Church) 8817 Urbana Church Rd Frederick, MD 21704. The Family will receive flowers at this location.

Memorial service will be held Friday, May 5th, 12:00pm at St. Ignatius Church, 4103 Prices Distillery Rd, Ijamsville, MD 21754.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kline Hospice House or Maryland SPCA.
