Mary and Nathan Miller

Mrs. Mary Madeline Miller, 88, of Frederick, MD passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 and Mr. Nathan M. Miller, Sr., 93, of Frederick, MD passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011, both at Frederick Memorial Hospital. They were married for 70 years.

Mrs. Miller was born September 10, 1923 in Dickerson, MD she was the daughter of the late James Polk and Helen Fawley Elkins and Mr. Miller was born on August 25, 1918 in Gaithersburg, MD he was the son of the late Byron H. and Eleanor M. Walker Miller Mullineaux.

Mrs. Miller was a great homemaker and really enjoyed taking care of her home Mary and Nathan were both avid antique collectors. They both enjoyed buying and selling antiques from yard sales. Nathan was a carpenter most of his life and enjoyed woodworking and building bird houses.

They are survived by their three children Nathan M. Miller, Jr. and wife Dana Sue of NY, Thomas M. Miller of Va and Catherine Anne Doroshenko of NY; 5 grandchildren Nathan Miller III, Jonathan Doroshenko, Joshua Doroshenko, Jessica Davis and husband James and David Jones; great-grandchildren Mitchell Miller, Amanda Miller, Gwenyth Davis, Robert Davis, Jonathan Doroshenko, Jr., Devon Doroshenko and Andrew Doroshenko.

Mary is preceded in death by her brothers Milton and James and her sisters Pauline, Margaret and Elizabeth. Nathan is preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Byron Miller and sisters Rebecca Lipford and Margaret Duvall.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick at 1PM. Pastor Gary Bookman and Pastor Randy Gilliam will officiat

Interment will follow at Forest Oak Cemetery in Gaithersburg, MD.
