Mary Zammichieli

Mary Evelyn Zammichieli, 75, of Frederick, Maryland, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born February 12, 1940 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late George W. Rushing and Mary Evelyn Jones Rich.
Her husband, Louis Bartolo John Zammichieli preceded her in death, less than six months ago, April 3, 2015.
She was a 1958 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Washington, DC. For 37 years, she was employed as an executive secretary for UFCW at the National Headquarters in Washington, DC.
She is survived by daughter, Maria E. Zammichieli and husband, Jeff Braun and son, Louis N. Zammichieli, all of Frederick; and two grand-dogs, Rosemary and Ancho. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 2nd at Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, with Rev. Michael Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
