Mary Louise Wolfe-Underwood,
Died June 10, 2018, born January 17, 1929 in Carroll County, Md. To the late
William J Stansbury Sr. & Hannah E Wilson Stansbury. She was the wife of the late Theodore W Wolfe Jr & the late Franklin W Underwood Sr.,
She attended school in a one room school house in Carroll County. In her early years she was a wife and homemaker and later worked retail for Sears. She traveled to every state with her late second husband, she loved being outside and working in her flower gardens as well as the numerous plants that she kept growing inside her home year-round. She also enjoyed her vegetable garden and loved to can both vegetables as well as fruits. She also enjoyed crocheting, dancing and flower arranging, in her later years she enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by Son Douglas D Wolfe and wife Deborah of Farming, WV., Daughter Debra A Ramsburg and significant other James McClure of Frederick MD., and Son Dennis W Wolfe and wife Denise. Sister Bertha V Stansbury Miller and husband Junior(Whitey) Miller of Silver Run MD., also surviving her are Grandsons Cy J Wolfe, Travis T Wolfe and wife Krystle, Brent L Wolfe and Fiancée Catie Carter, David W Ramsburg and wife Katey, Grandson Ethan P McClure and wife Kelsey and Granddaughters Crystal L McClure, Amanda M Wolfe, Krista A Wolfe, Samantha K Wolfe and Jessica L Wolfe, as well as numerous great grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
She is proceeded in death by brothers Howard F Stansbury, Grover L Stansbury, & Clifford L Stansbury, two half-sisters Cloe Sullivan and Nellie Shorb, and two half-brothers Charles A. Stansbury and William J. Stansbury Jr.
She was a long-time member and Sunday school teacher at Tom’s Creek Methodist Church and later she attended Salem Bottom Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD 21788. Interment will be at Keysville Union Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
