Mary E. Thompson, 90 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, May 4
th
at Buckingham’s Choice. She was the wife of the late John Edwin “Jack” Thompson.
Born December 7, 1920 in Lowellville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Lewis T. and Mary Dunlop McBride.
Mary served in the United States Army. She was previously employed as a nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital and also as a private duty nurse. She also previously worked in the labs at Fort Detrick.
She enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean and was an avid cat lover.
She is survived by her two sons, John Carlisle Thompson of Jefferson and William Lewis Thompson and wife Susan of Easton, her grandchildren, Ayn Zarrow and Kristin, Megan and John Gregory Thompson.
She is preceded in death by a son, David Paul Thompson and a daughter-in-law, Chris Thompson.
Services will be private.
