Mary Ringold

Mrs. Mary Lou Ringold, 81, of Mt. Airy, died on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Earl W. Ringold who died on April 18, 2003.
Born on November 14, 1929, in St. Paul Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Marion Hennesey Gibbons.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, softball, the movies and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are children, Gary Ringold and wife Terry of Stevensville, Deborah Rankin and husband Bill of Eldersburg, Dave Ringold and wife Kim of Mt. Airy and Gregg Ringold and wife Janice of Fredericksburg, VA. 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. One brother, Edward Gibbons of Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Ringold.
Visitation will be held on Saturday April 2, 2011 from 11:00am until time of memorial services at 12:00noon at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD. The Reverend Tim May will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date next to her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
