Mary Rebert

Mrs. Mary E. Rebert, 59, of Thurmont died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at her home. She was the loving wife of Dennis A. Rebert. They were married 18 years.
Born December 4, 1955 in Bethesda, she was the daughter of Barbara H. Rider of North Carolina and the late Clifford Eugene Rider.
Mary received an associate’s degree in Early Child Development and spent many years volunteering with different organizations. She was an active volunteer with Camp West Mar for many years and was an assistant Scout Master with the Boys Scouts of America. Mary loved spending time with her family and enjoyed making crafts.
She was a kind, giving person and was a friend of Bill W.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Robin, Christine, Heather, Barbara, Sarah, James and Brittney; and 8 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Rider; a son, John Becker; and an infant daughter, Samantha Rebert.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 23 from the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
