Mrs. Mary Lou Mohler, 56, of Rocky Ridge, MD., passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was the wife of Robert E. Mohler, Sr.
Born April 29, 1955 in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lester Lamar Poole, Sr. and Betty Ann Burrier.
Mary Lou loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Bobbie Jo Benjamin and husband Bill of Waynesboro, PA and her son Robert Eugene Mohler, Jr and wife Amanda of Boonsboro, MD, grandchildren Devon Mohler, Lane Moore, Michael Benjamin and Kelby Benjamin, sisters Tina Fogle and husband Ed of Woodsboro, MD and Jackie Angleberger and husband Joe of New Oxford, PA, step-brothers Brian and Allen Poole and nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Lester Lamar Poole, Jr and a sister Debbie Kay Rippeon. The family would like to thank our neighbors Carol and Dewayne Flanagen, Jeff and Jodi Cook and good friends Doug and Deb Long and Ethel Fitzgerald.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont on Friday, February 24, from 2-4 and 7 – 9 pm, where services will be held on Saturday, February 25, at 11:00 am.
Interment will be private.
