MARY BOZARTH KEIRSEY of Frederick passed away Monday, December 10th peacefully at home with her daughters and husband.
Born December 23, 1925, Mary was raised in Oklahoma. She married her husband of 64 years, Jim Keirsey of Waco, Texas in September, 1948. They moved to Maryland in 1951, where they raised their two daughters, Luanne Keirsey and Elizabeth Keirsey Dague.
Mary is survived by Jim, Luanne and Elizabeth; son-in-law Bob Goodwin; grandsons Brady, Lucas and Perry Dague, Gabriel and Aaron Goodwin, and niece Barbara King of Big Bear Lake, California.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15th from 1 to 4 pm at Stauffers Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick. A memorial service to honor Mary’s life will be on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at Mary and Jim’s beloved church, Brook Hill United Methodist, at 8946 Indian Springs Road in Frederick at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, Mary’s honor contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, 516 Trail Avenue, Frederick 21702, or Brook Hill United Methodist Church.
