Mary Hilleary
January 24, 1936 — February 28, 2018
Mary Anne Hilleary, 82, of Falling Waters, WV, and formerly of Middletown, MD died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis W. Hilleary, who predeceased her on Sept. 26, 2015. They were married for 54 years at the time of his death.
Born January 24, 1936 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Mary Estelle Imlay.
Mrs. Hilleary retired as a central intelligence logistics analyst with the federal government. She resided in Middletown area for 26 years before moving to Falling Waters to be closer to her family.
She loved springtime, gardening, and animals, especially horses.
Mrs. Hilleary is survived by her son, Gregory J. Hilleary and wife, Karen, of Falling Waters; her daughter, Sandra A. Routzahn and husband, Michael, of Falling Waters; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Myra Lee Pritchett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown MD 21769. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 at St. Leo Catholic Church, 2109 Sulphur Springs Road, Inwood, WV 25428.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either church at the above listed addresses.
