On Sunday, March 6, 2011, Mary N. Hicks of Jefferson, MD. Beloved wife of the late John D. Hicks. She is survived by children John D. Hicks, Jr. and Dewey Dale Hicks and wife Judy, Gail Loughhead and Donna Keister; brother Sandige Neal and the late John and Bryson Neal ; sisters Helen Johnson and Lillian Wayne; 5 grandchildren Michelle, Melanie, Robert, Joel and Jessica and 3 great-grandchildren Robert, Alexander and Katie. Mary worked for the Department of Navy for 5 years and was a secretary supervisor for the Federal Government Printing Office for 10 years. She was also devoted mother and homemaker. Friends may call at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 5-8 PM on Thursday, March 10 where services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 11. The Rev. Thomas Johnson will officiate. Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. Donations can also be made to Hospice of Frederick County P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
