Mary Hewitt

Mary Dolores Hewitt 83, of Mountaindale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. She was the wife of the late Raymond L. Hewitt. Born on October 21, 1932, in Yellow Springs, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace Craver.
She was a homemaker and avid bingo player. She is survived by her children, Linda Cupp, Darlene Martin, Carl Hewitt, Kathlene Angleberger, Janet Hewitt, Angel Hewitt; one brother, Sonny Craver; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth "Mugzy" Hewitt; a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Thurmont.
In lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to Janet Hewitt at 6508E Mountaindale RD. Thurmont, MD 21788 to assist with funeral expenses.
