Peacefully entered eternal life on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center. Daughter of the late John T. and Janie Brown; beloved wife of the late Alvin W. Harris and Hubert H. Gross; mother to Mary E. Smith (Donald), Frederick, MD; Dorothy Douglas (Bobby), Silver Spring, MD; Edith A. Weedon, Knoxville, MD; Rosemarie Carey, Upper Marlboro, MD; Marva J. Ambush (Edward), Boonsboro, MD; Linda C. Harris, Hagerstown, MD; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren & 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Lawrence Harris and daughters: Rebecca Harris, Shirley A. Scott, Lillian McKlevin, two sisters and four brothers. Viewing will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 from 9:30 am until service at 11:00 am, Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. Interment Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
