Mary Green

Mary Jane Green, 66, of Frederick, MD passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her home. She was the fiancé of Wayne Ridenour.

Born November 5, 1946 she was the daughter of her biological parents Edith Mae Griffith of Frederick and the late Joseph Poloski and her adopted parents the late Joseph and Namie Rothenhoefer.

Mary was a Director of Stepping Stone Daycare Center for 30 years. Mary was a devoted mother to her children and family and also very devoted to her daycare kids. She was also an avid Redskins and Jeff Gordon fan.

In addition to her mother and fiancé, she is survived by her three children Charles E. Green, Jr. and wife Lisa of Middletown, Gloria Mercer of Middletown and Randy Green and wife Sherry of Brunswick; grandchildren Ashley Alt and husband Brian, Christopher Green and wife Kayla, Tyler Green and fiancé Brittany, Jonathon Mercer, Aaron Mercer, Amanda Mercer, Brandon Mercer, Ryan Mercer, Brandi Nicole Green, Brittany Zeller and husband Shawn, Brandy Feketis and Michelle Shaff, great grandchildren, Emily, Nathan, Lucas, Skilyar, Domonic, Mason, Rebekah, Aubrey, Damian, Raynie, Ruthie, Arianna and Haileigh; sisters Janet Brooks and husband Thomas and Judy Ketterman and husband Jerry. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, September 15th from 2-4 and 7-9PM where a funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16th at 1:00PM with Pastor Rebecca Shillingburg officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
