Mary Fulmer

Mary Gladys(Blank) Fulmer, of Frederick, MD, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. She was the loving wife of George W. Fulmer, Sr for 63 years.

Born on December 24, 1932 in Frederick, MD she was the daughter of the late Grayson and Marguerite Hildebrand Blank.

Mary was a member of the Edgewood Church of God. She worked for Frederick County Public Schools as a school bus driver. She also bartended for the American Legion, Frederick, Post #11 and AMVETS, Middletown, Post #9 and was a waitress at the VFW. Mary enjoyed traveling to Germany with her husband. More than anything Mary loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and attending family gatherings.

In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by her children George "Bill" W. Fulmer, Jr and wife Tammie of Frederick, Teresa Kay Burrill and husband Richard of Frederick and Gregory Scott Fulmer and wife Bobbi of Frederick; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; siblings Lucille Keyser, Patsy Korrell, Melva Witmer, Rosanna Kidd, Evelyn Hawker and Franklin Blank. She is preceded in death by her son Richard Allen Fulmer, her daughter Cindy Lou Deater and her siblings Chester L. Blank, Audrey Altenbern, James Blank, Edgar Blank and Grayson "Sonny" Blank, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM where a service will be held on Monday, March 25 at 10 AM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
