Mary Fiumara
February 5, 1953 — July 18, 2017
Mary L. Fiumara, 64, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She was the wife of Paul A. Fiumara. Born on February 5, 1953 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Michael E. Kirschbaum and Marilyn Kennedy Kirschbaum.
Mrs. Fiumara was a founding and active member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Walkersville, where she served in many ministries.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her children: Rebecca Pines and husband Michael, Anthony Fiumara, Gregory Fiumara, and three grandchildren: James, Lillian, and Sean Pines. A brother, John Kirschbaum and his wife Jane, as well as a sister, Kathleen Vivian and her husband Hugh, also survive Mary. Her brother, Michael Kirschbaum, pre-deceased her.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 26 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville. Mgsr. Richard Murphy and Rev. Juan Vazquez-Rubio will concelebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
A reception will follow the interment at the Parish Center of St. Timothy Church.
