Mrs. Mary E. Thompson “Peengie”, 68, of Mt. Airy died on Thursday February 6, 2014 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie. She was the wife of Clinton W. Thompson.
Born on June 14, 1945 in Washington D. C., she was the daughter of the late Warren J. Sr. and Mary R. Caporaletti Hoffmaster.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church Libertytown where she was very active in the Ladies Club.
Also surviving are her children Lisa M. Jordan and companion George Hoff of Mt. Airy, Brian E. Jordan and wife Sherry of Ellicott City, Craig A. Jordan of Mt. Airy, Eric W. Thompson and wife Karen of Wilmington, NC, Greg S. Thompson of Miami, FL., and Jason E. Thompson of Charleston, SC. Grandchildren Julie, Steven, Travis, Noah and Emma. Brother Warren J. Hoffmaster Jr., and wife Joanne.
Visitation will be held 3-5 and 7-9pm on Monday February 10, 2014 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Libertytown, 9190 Church Street, Libertytown, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday February 11, 2014. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Peter’s Ladies Club.
