Mary Elizabeth Hill

Mary Hill, 90, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center in Frederick, MD

She was born on Saturday, December 31, 1932, in Flemington, NJ, to the late William and Sadie (Merrill) Mathews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Hill, Sr. of Buckeystown in 1966; and her siblings, William, Alice and Gladys. 

She was a stay at home mom who raised her three children.  Later in life, she enjoyed house sitting, caring for her flowers, gardening, and playing bingo.  She had a love of sports, especially the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Redskins and the Washington Capitals. 

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, George Hill, Jr., Gary Hill and Vicki Winpigler; and also grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Services and burial will be private. 

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Citizens Care and Rehabilitation for their love and great care for our mother.
