Mary A. Dudley

Mary Alice Ferris Dudley Born April 15, 1939 to Lester F. And Nora S. Ferris. Lived in Chevy Chase until 1964. Graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in 1957 and from George Washington University in 1962. Worked for the Army Map Service until 1967, then private industry until 1970, then Health and Human Services until 1994. Married George H. Dudley in 1970, a widower with two sons. Moved to a farm in Frederick County, Md in 1971. George died in 2003, elder step-son died in 2011. Adopted younger stepson in 2017. Traveled with her mother to Europe in 1969, with her mother-in-law to Hawaii in 1972, and with George to New Zealand and Australia in 1997. Survived by adopted son, two grandsons, one step-grandson, two sisters, one niece, one nephew, and two daughters-in-law.
