Mary Elizabeth Flook Dorsey, 75, formerly of Maple Avenue, Boonsboro, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Julia Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.
Born May 9, 1933 in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Roy H. and Vada Irene Reeder Flook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Dorsey, in 2001.
She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School and a homemaker.
She was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael E. Dorsey of Boonsboro; sister, Doris E. Flook of Boonsboro; and brothers, Gerald R. Flook of Allentown, Pa., Ronald L. Flook of Fairplay, Md. and Elvin R. Flook of Boonsboro; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Velma C. Scott and Esther I. Kitchen.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Manor Cemetery near Boonsboro. The Rev. Helen S. Smith will officiate.
There will be a visitation at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday prior to graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, 134 S. Main Street, Boonsboro, Md. 21713.
