Mrs. Mary Jean D’Amato, 55, of Ijamsville, died on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of Tony D’Amato, her husband of 30 years.
Born on December 8, 1955, in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Wonning Hoerst. She was a systems analyst for the IRS.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Tony D’Amato, Jr. and wife Heidi; 2 daughters: Jamie Banks and husband Jerrold and Angelina D’Amato; 6 grandchildren: Isabella D’Amato, Xander D’Amato, Jerrold Banks, Jr, Taylor Banks, Deja Banke and Jasmine Banks; 2 brothers: James Hoerst and Mike Hoerst; 2 sisters: Julia Walke and Susie Strine.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 26, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with Rev Larry Eubanks of Frederick First Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will be private.
