Mary Elizabeth Clark

Mary Elizabeth Clark, 87, entered eternal rest on November 10, 2024, at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. She was the beloved wife of Frank Spangler Clark, Sr. for 65 years. 

Born on January 1, 1937, in Hagerstown MD, she was the daughter of the late William Preston, Sr. and Mary Blanche (Wallick) Gearhart. 

Mary was a proud graduate of Hagerstown High School, completing her education in 1954. Her career included significant roles at Pangborn Corporation and as a coat presser for the renowned London Fog Coat Factory situated in Boonsboro, MD. Throughout her professional journey, she was admired not only for her skills but also for her unwavering dedication.

 Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and cherished her family above all else. In addition to her husband, is survived by her children, Kelli L. Eikens and husband Dave and Frank S. Clark, Jr. The joy in her life grew with her grandchildren, Kristina and her husband Micah, and Ryan, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Myles and Owen. Mary is also remembered fondly by her sister, Peggy Gearhart. 

She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Gearhart, Jr.Frances Sarco and Charles Gearhart.
