Mary Louise Bevins Brunskill, of Adamstown, Maryland and a native of Seneca Falls, New York died peacefully at her home on June 20, 2017.
Mary Lou was born in Seneca Falls, the daughter of Thomas Bevins and Louise Stapleton Bevins. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy and attended the College of St. Rose in Albany.
While living in Seneca Falls, she was a member of the Seneca Falls Country Club, a past president of the Women’s League, past president of the Mynderse Academy Band Boosters, a member of the Red Cross, the Taylor Brown Auxiliary and other service organizations.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie, and her sister, Kathleen Litchfield.
She is survived by her daughters, Leigh (Thomas) Guiel of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Susan (Ronald) Knox of Watertown, New York.
She is also survived by her sister, Colleen (Jerry) Rizzieri of Charlotte, North Carolina, her two brothers, Thomas (Dail) Bevins of Springdale, Arkansas and William Bevins, of Shreveport, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Jessica (Ian) Guiel-Nacke, Michael (Victoria) Guiel, Ryan Knox, and Kristen (Jonathan) Benvenuto; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held in Seneca Falls, New York with burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The family requests the courtesy of no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
