Mary Jane Akers, 56, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born January 29, 1958, in Leesburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Howard Clarence Akers and Bertha Estelle Righter Akers.
She is survived by her sister, Joanne Patricia Akers of Frederick, and numerous cousins and other family members.
