Marvin Fitts

Marvin Lee Fitts, 91, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at  in Walkersville, MD

Born on September 23, 1929, in Sweetwater, TX, he was the son of Floyd  Fitts and Rosa Lathum (Lathum) Davis.

He was husband to his first wife, Marjorie Eck Fitts, second wife, Patricia Fitts and third wife, Darline Fitts

Marvin received his Masters of Science Degree in Governmental Administration from George Washington University and retired as a full Commander from the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his children, Karen Ray and husband, Donny and their children, Donny Ray, Danny Ray and wife, Nancy, Steven Ray and Mike Ray and partner, Katie, Thomas A Fitts and wife, Denice and their children, Teresa Heiss-Krantz and Paul Fitts and wife, Anne, and John Fitts and wife, Kim and their children, katrina Paynter, Tony Howard and wife, Lauren and Kimberly Rose Fitts.  He is also survived by great-grandchildren, CJ Ray, Donny Ray, Austin Ray, Blake Ray, Shannon Ray, Sofia Ray, Mike Ray, Max Ray, Ryan Heiss, Scarlette Krantz, Jonah Krantz, Natalie Fitts, Madalyn Fitts, Jase Fitts, Victoria Paynter, Myle Paynter and Masen Paynter.

Full Military Honors will be held at Ft. Myer Chapel, Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, time and date to be announced.

Memorial donations may be made to  the Alzheimer's Association.
