Martha May

Martha May, 77, of Point of Rocks, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. Born on June 30, 1947, in Bethesda, Maryland, Martha lived a life full of adventure, passion, and kindness.

She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Rick, and together they built a life rich in love and shared adventures. Martha had a deep love for exploring the world, traveling to places such as Iceland and Botswana, skiing in Chile, and horseback riding with her cherished horses, Rondo and Lucas. 

Her greatest passion was her work with Go Team Therapy Dogs of Frederick, where she brought joy and comfort to countless people. Her dedication to this cause exemplified her compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Martha is survived by her husband, Rick; her sons, Kevin (Kate) and Eric (Katie); and her six grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Logan, Miles, Caitlin, and Harper. She also leaves behind her two beloved dogs, Max and Zoe.

A viewing and celebration of Martha’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Go Team Therapy Dogs of Frederick in her honor. Martha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
