Martha Lansberry Kinkead

Ms. Martha Ann "Marty" Lansberry Kinkead, 72, of Middletown, MD, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Frederick, MD.
Born February 17, 1940 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Geynet and Grace McKean Lansberry.
A graduate of Penn State, Ms. Kinkead was a social worker initially in Clearfield, and then for many years in the Frederick County, Montgomery County and Washington, DC areas, specializing in home health, Alzheimer's, and adult day care.
She enjoyed cooking and entertaining and on occasion would provide private catering for her closest friends under the name of Marty's Morsels.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Kinkead and husband, Matthew Staley of Frederick; her brother, John B. Lansberry and his wife, Patricia, of Woodland, PA; a niece, Julie Roberts and her husband, Scott, and their children, Jake and Carly, of Hamilton, Va.
Local arrangements are being handled by Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. of Frederick. All services will be private in Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maryland Food Bank, 2200 Halethorpe Farms Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227.
