It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Martha DiRienzo, who dedicated her life to caring for her family and nurturing those she loved. She departed this world peacefully on October 1, 2024, at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 15, 1931, to Jennie Ann (Bertuccio) Terino and Edward Chiro Terino of Everett, MA. Her unwavering love and support shaped their lives, instilling in them the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience.
Throughout her life, Martha was the heart of her family. She found joy in every moment spent with her husband and daughters, celebrating life’s milestones with warmth and laughter. Her home was a haven filled with love, where every holiday and family gathering was marked by her delicious cooking and nurturing spirit. Her family was her world, and as the years went by, she was blessed with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and light into her life.
Martha was known for her selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. Moving to various parts of the country, she established lifelong friendships always making others feel loved and cherished. With a wonderful sense of humor, she delighted in bringing smiles to others’ faces.
She had a passion for old movies, particularly westerns, and was an avid reader, with a library of hundreds of books. Later in life, she pursued her education at Montgomery College and Harris County Community College (TX), studying computer science and history.
