Mark Alexander Zizzamia, 21, of Mt. Airy died suddenly on Saturday July 28, 2012 at his home.
Born in Olney, MD on October 28, 1990 he was the loving son of John J. and Deborah Smith Zizzamia.
Mark was a 2008 graduate of South Carroll High School in Sykesville, MD. He attended the Art Institute of Pittsburg where he successfully completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and graduated with honors in 2011.
Mark was the lead graphic designer at Precision Solutions, Inc. in Owings Mills, MD and owned his own studio MZ Graphics where he was beginning to create his own client base.
His interests included photography, art, music and skateboarding.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his first love and passion, his daughter Kenzie Rae Harris-Zizzamia. His brothers, Gregory Zizzamia of Carlisle, PA and Jason Zizzamia and wife Christine of Reisterstown, MD.
Visitation will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD 21771 on Thursday August 2, from 3-5 & 7-9pm where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday August 3, 2012. Reverend Tim May will officiate. Interment and graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday August 4, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
The family request that at visitation and funeral services it be known that wearing tie-dye shirts or clothing is welcomed and encouraged to memorialize Mark’s love for art and zest for life.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mark’s name should be made to the Art Department in c/o South Carroll High School, 1300 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, Maryland 21784 attention office manager.
