Mark Hill

Mark McCracken Hill, 63, of Frederick, Maryland passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at his home in Birmingham, Alabama.
Born on April 3, 1955, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Emma Josephine (Emma Jo) McCracken and Robert Linnzie Hill.
Mark grew up primarily in Pittsburgh, PA and earned a bachelors of science in Business at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, after which he was employed at several businesses. Mark enjoyed his long walks, had an interest in history and enjoyed reading and watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He cherished time spent with his kids.
He is survived by his former wife, Judy Hill and their children, Karla Ann Roberts and husband Wardell, and Robert Lewis Hill of Frederick, Maryland; grandchildren, Karson and Kamden Roberts; siblings Laura (Hill) Gallagher of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Lindsay Hill of Birmingham, Alabama; nieces Emily and Lauren Gallagher, and Jillian Wieble and nephew Jesse Hill. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
A celebration of Mark's life journey will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, with reception following.
