Marjorie Virginia Grimm Getridge, age 86, of 16505 Virginia Ave., Williamsport, MD, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Homewood Retirement Center near Williamsport.
Born March 28, 1922 in Boonsboro, she was a daughter of the late Harry V. and Mary Hutzell Grimm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion A. Getridge Jr., in 1944.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce M. Shifler of Boonsboro; one granddaughter, Deanna L. Nalley of Hagerstown, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Arrangements are by Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A., in Boonsboro.
